Mountain View Animal Hospital & Holistic Pet Care
AAHA-Accredited Excellence - Gold-Standard Care for Ferrets, Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, Lizards, and More
Mountain View Animal Hospital & Holistic Pet Care is one of the few AAHA-accredited animal hospitals in Northern Nevada, providing gold-standard veterinary care for both traditional and exotic pets. The clinical team understands that exotic pets have unique needs and require specialized care to thrive. The practice's comprehensive services are designed to meet these needs, from routine wellness exams and diagnostic testing to tailored advice on habitat creation, nutrition, and enrichment. The hospital provides specialized care for reptiles (snakes, lizards, geckos, bearded dragons, turtles, tortoises), birds (parrots, canaries, finches, cockatiels), small mammals (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats), and other exotic mammals (ferrets, sugar gliders, hedgehogs). The practice's blend of traditional and holistic approaches allows us to address each patient's health comprehensively and compassionately. The practice offers acupuncture, chiropractic/orthopedic manipulation, therapy laser, ozone therapy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, and other holistic treatments. Nevada Veterinary Medical Law mandates that pets must undergo an examination at least once every 12 months before receiving diagnostics or treatments.

AAHA accredited and it shows! Dr. Landon is amazing with exotic pets. She gave me detailed habitat advice for my bearded dragon and he's thriving. The holistic options are a huge bonus.

The only AAHA-accredited hospital in Reno that also does exotics! My rabbit gets acupuncture here for arthritis and it's made such a difference. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable.
